You might not be able to tell from her gentle, loving smile, but Lily Rose is one seriously active baby. And we don't just mean physically active (though spending time in her pack 'n' play is definitely her least favorite way to while away the hour). This politico in the making is completely in love with her Che Guevara doll and can be overheard (repeatedly) saying, "Obama Mama!" While she can't vote quite yet, she has recently started her adventures in eating. Unlike her political views, though, she keeps eating simple. Her favorites so far: butternut squash and pears. Never together, please. Apparently not fit for a future president!
This discerning baby may be new to eating, but she knows what's good when she sees (and tastes!) it. A big fan of simple, organic fruits and veggies, Mia has already taken the bold step of chewing on her mommy's fresh summer peach (a budding connoisseur, we're excited for her to be old enough to try our Cinnamon Peach Oatmeal). But eating isn't just about good taste and nutrition. Mia has discovered that food is about having fun, too. Like the time she accidentally sneezed while eating, discovering how hilarious flying food could be. And then did it over and over and over again! No wonder her mommy thinks she just might be a comedian when she grows up!
Hold on to your Cinnamon Peach Oatmeal! We've got a New York City girl who loves to shake, shake, shake! Yes, dancing is definitely among Jordyn's favorite pastimes. But there's more to the shakin' than all that. This self-proclaimed (okay, mom-proclaimed!) bubbly baby also loves to shake her maracas (Jordyn's go-to toy) and sipping healthy fruit shakes at snack time. In fact, her most exciting eating experience so far involved conch fritters and a strawberry shake on the beach in the Bahamas (even city girls enjoy a little fun in the sun!). She's also been seen grabbing fish straight off of her grandma's plate—taking healthy eating into her own hands. That’s what we call a shake down!
Christain was destined to live on this box. Because what you see is what you get. And what you get is a contagious little laugher who can make even a street mime break his vow of silence. We're not sure if he gets his funny bone from his "mamamamama" (as Christain likes to call her) or his papa. But we do know that one look at this big-for-his-age, toy-cellphone-obsessed, lovable-and-snuggleable flirt will make you smile too. Christain also digs swinging at the playground, eating pasta off his head, and cars of every sort. His ChowPapa thinks he'll be a firefighter when he grows up. His ChowMama thinks he'll be a marine biologist. We think he shows promise as a stand-up comic. Or at least class clown.
This bath time loving funny kid is a foodie in the making! Though he wouldn’t give up composing new tunes on his musical table, Aidan's absolute favorite toy is a spatula. And his favorite place to hang? You guessed it the kitchen! But it's all about the food, of course. Already a skilled self-feeder, Aidan loves to mix squash, yam, and banana. And, apparently, his concoctions make beautiful wall art, too! Cookery as art. Told you he's a foodie in the making!
Isaac (AKA Pooch, the Bean, Chunky Chicken) is his mama's #1 taste-tester. The fact that this truck-and-bus obsessed toddler happens to love food is just a coincidence. His favorite meals are a Middle Eastern style chicken cooked in yogurt and mint sauce (yes, ChowBaby Peas with Mint mixed with whole milk yogurt does the trick) and curry in all forms. (He's repeatedly requested a ChowBaby curry product and I'm starting to think he's on to something.) Isaac also loves eating out, which is easy to do with this intrepid taster, though his ChowMama and ChowPapa think it's mostly to flirt with waitresses. Charming, even with his mouth full. Aah, a heartbreaker.
Atticus is the original ChowBaby and inspiration behind the ChowBaby brand. (With a middle name like Huckleberry, what else would you expect?) His ChowMama is proud to tell anyone willing to listen that he's never eaten food from a jar! But Atticus prefers his ChowMama not talk so much. He'd rather play with worms in the garden, build a city using every pillow from every room in the house, or mix up a batch of Cheddar Apple Mini Muffins. (He prefers to buy the Banana Date ones for the cute kid on the box!) And he spends a lot of time teaching his ChowMama and ChowPapa how to feed a self-proclaimed "big boy"—feed me what you're eating, offer me choices, and don't be alarmed if all I want this week is brown rice since next week it'll be spinach pancakes.
